Frequently Asked Questions
For Individuals & Families
Do you judge people?
No.
Justice Wellness Warriors provides trauma-informed, culturally respectful and accountability-focused support without judgement. We recognise that many individuals entering the justice system have complex histories, trauma experiences and systemic challenges.
Support is grounded in dignity, responsibility and safety.
Do you support people accused of domestic or sexual violence?
We may engage with individuals who are willing to acknowledge harm, take responsibility and commit to genuine behavioural change.
We do not excuse or minimise violence.
Safety of victims, children and vulnerable persons is always prioritised.
Support is focused on accountability, intervention and reducing further harm.
Will you report me to police?
Justice Wellness Warriors is not a law enforcement agency.
However, we operate within Australian law and mandatory reporting obligations. If there is immediate risk of serious harm, particularly involving children or vulnerable persons, appropriate authorities may need to be notified.
Our aim is always to reduce risk, prevent escalation and encourage proactive responsibility rather than reactive crisis responses.
Can you help me surrender safely if I have a warrant?
Where appropriate, we may support individuals to take accountability in a structured and safer way — including encouraging voluntary surrender and engagement with legal processes.
We do not interfere with lawful processes.
We believe that taking proactive responsibility often leads to safer and more controlled outcomes than avoidance.
Will you work with my family?
Where safe and appropriate, yes.
Family wellbeing and trauma reduction are core to our framework. Engagement will always prioritise safety, boundaries and safeguarding considerations.
What if I cannot afford to pay?
Justice Wellness Warriors operates on a tiered and community-supported model.
No one is turned away due to financial hardship where support can be safely provided.
We believe access to support should not depend solely on financial capacity.
For Courts, Police & Corrections
Do you work with police and courts?
Yes.
Justice Wellness Warriors recognises the important role police, courts and corrective services play in maintaining community safety and upholding the law.
We are not anti-system. We are outcome-focused.
We support individuals to engage responsibly, take accountability and comply with lawful processes.
What is your role when someone is involved in the justice system?
We do not interfere with lawful processes.
Our role may include:
• Encouraging voluntary accountability
• Supporting individuals to surrender safely where appropriate
• Assisting individuals to better understand court processes
• Promoting compliance with lawful orders
• Supporting behavioural change and rehabilitation
• Reducing escalation through proactive engagement
We aim to improve communication and reduce avoidable trauma where possible.
Do you criticise the justice system?
Justice processes can be complex, overwhelming and stressful — particularly for individuals with trauma histories, cultural barriers or limited support.
Rather than opposing systems, Justice Wellness Warriors focuses on practical solutions. We work alongside individuals to strengthen engagement, responsibility and safer outcomes for families and communities.
Our approach is collaborative, not adversarial.
Can you provide support plans or compliance reports?
Where appropriate and within scope, we can provide confirmation of engagement, structured support plans and progress updates.
We do not provide false endorsements or legal advice.
